Artist Management According to Flo and Eddie
Flo and Eddie (who used to be The Turtles) had a slew of hits. They sang backup with acts ranging from Zappa to Springsteen (that was them ooohing and aaaahing on "Hungry Heart). And they still tour to this day. And cuz they were smart and never gave up despite being in court for decades, they kept the right to the master recodings for hits including "Happy Together." Which you may remember from a key scene in "The Simpsons Movie." They ended up doing really well. But the made a lot of mistakes along the way. In this video they tell you about some of them.

The need to adapt, improvise and overcome continues for me even after coming off the road. It's odd how often I return from a tour and find myself hammered with some sort of temporary human illness that is - according to my warped thinking - unknown to man and I have to fight to not let it the thing overcome me. In reality I have probably picked up just another random roving germ, one of the perils of global travel. But dramatization can be the norm for my artist side, so to help me recover from my latest cold, I try to actually name someone I can blame.
